Hi,
avisplit currently splits only interleaved AVI-files that have been
produced with transcode. This looks like as the sound is not distributed
equally over your CD's after splitting, which makes it almost impossible
to split the file without sound reencoding.

You might want to try (audio) re-encoding to an interleaved AVI-file.

transcode -i file_in.avi -P 1 -x avi,mp3 -y raw -o file_out.avi -u 50

if you really need to split afterwards.

Thomas.
