Yes, and most likely dvd::rip will follow the restrictions one can 
derive from its name ;)

dvd::rip claims not to be a transcode GUI, which would be a much harder
task than a DVD Ripping GUI, because transcode is growing fast and has 
many options and purposes which you can combine in arbitrary ways.

I believe dvd::rip is more or less simple to use, because it follows 
this direction strictly, and most likely the direction won't change ;)
