I would REALLY be interested !

I'm searching for a convenient way to produce VCD/SVCD with Authoring
(VCDImager)
for my DVD Standalone player (Tokai) for months !!!

I've tried Windows tools. Not to bad, but I cannot use script shells
and some guys
told me that this operating is not very stable ;))))

If you post patch for latest DVD::RIP, I would be happy to use test
them !

By the way: Can you give shells commands how to build VCD/SVCD from DVD
sources (Or TV, etc ...)

I plan to use VCDImager for Authoring, But today, when using DVD::RIP,
I can only produce DIVx files...

I've tried to use mpeg mode, with following options:

(Thanks to Juergen Grete, who said that he get info from you ;))))

        Video Codec: mpeg
        af6 Video Codec: s
        Video Bitrate: 2500
        Audio Bitrate: 224

Then process starts, and I had to stop it after a while, because it
produces following files:

        -rw-r--r-- 1 yc yc 0 Jan 11 21:48
fullvobrip-2-C1.avi.m2v
        -rw-r--r-- 1 yc yc 763015168 Jan 11 22:02
fullvobrip-2-C1.avi.mpa

Absolutely huge !!!! And it grows forever !

Following command file was executed, according to logs:

        transcode -i /public/DVDRIP/fullvobrip/vob/2-C1 -x vob -a 0 -w
2500,250,100 -J skip="0-2" -o
/public/DVDRIP/fullvobrip/avi/fullvobrip-2-C1.avi -c 0-191450 -y mpeg -F s -V
-b 224 -C 1 -I 1 -Z 768x432

        With transcode: v0.6.0pre2-20020107

        Can someone help me ?
