[dvd::rip] DVD ripping problem: more details

More details in the previous issue:

The commands finally rip what they have to, but dvd::rip does not show 
proper progress information. After a long long wait, the progress 
indicator starts, and show very slow values. Then about 20% it says: 
ripping finished:

also, the ripped .vob file seems corrupt: xine segfaults on playing it, 
and when grabbing scenes for the clip & zoom tab, all the pictures are 
totally messy, lot of green artifacts on the picture.

Maybe this is some new copy protection stuff?
