Ok, I note on my TODO list "add all new features a week before someone 
needs them" :)

This is a misunderstanding. You can *rip* a selection of titles in batch
mode, but there is no batch configuring/transcoding available in 
standarad mode. You have to configure each title seperately. For batch 
transcoding I suggest using the cluster mode. Even with one computer 
this is a good solution, because this gives you an extensive job control
and batch mode for free.
