Try dvdbackup. I had a problem with transcode and Erin_Brokovich dvd, I think
it may have something to do with macrovision. Anyway I was able to use
dvdbackup in a new dvd drive to make an archive copy. Was strange as you
could play it ok with either of my dvd drives but I could only backup from my
new one which was actually a dvd burner.
