Hmmm my Gmplayer is not in english so I am not sure how it's translated.
But this option is the last one in the section of "Subtitles and OSD" in
Gmplayers options. There is one option which transform the subtitles to
Mplayer's owm format and another one other which transforms them to srt.
I hope I was helpful...
