hi everyone -
my dvdrw is on a windows machine at the moment, so i used dvd decrypter to rip
an iso to a network drive. when i direct dvd::rip to the iso, apparently it
can't read it and i get a number of errors. i also ripped the divd to
individual files, but i can't figure out how to load them into dvd::rip for
transcoding (if that's even possible).
here are the iso error messages. first i get:
--------------------------------------------------
An internal exception was thrown!
The error message was:
Can't use an undefined value as a HASH reference at
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/Video/DVDRip/GUI/Project/TitleTab.pm line 716.
--------------------------------------------------
then when i press OK, i get this:
--------------------------------------------------
Can't determine number of titles.
Please put the DVD in your drive.
tcprobe output was:
libdvdread: Using libdvdcss version 1.2.9 for DVD access
libdvdread: Couldn't find device name.
libdvdread: Can't open file VIDEO_TS.IFO.

--------------------------------------------------
it seems to be trying to read the dvd player, but when i put a null path in the
iso path, i get a different error.
i haven't read all the documentation yet -- is the feature to use a DVD iso
image not implemented yet?
one more question would be what if anything i need to put in the DVD device and
mount point fields since i don't have a dvd-rw on my linux machine?
btw, nuking the logfile does not work anymore, although it used to when i used
dvd::rip a while ago, about 6-12 mos.
thanks!
