[dvd::rip] dvd::rip 0.97.1 - Notes to package maintainers

Hiho,

[ hopefully all package maintainers are subscribed to this list.
  Thinking of creating an extra list to keep you informed
  about new releases without the need of reading the whole
  dvdrip-users traffic... ]

Since users are usually somewhat conservative regarding installation of
unstable releases I'd appreciate packages of the 0.97.1 branch very 
much. Packaging should be as easy as for the current stable Gtk 1.x 
based version, there are just two more dependencies on the Perl module 
level:

  Gtk2 (including Glib and stuff, but no Gnome)
  Gtk2::Ex::FormFactory

The first is packaged already for all major distros. The second module 
is rather new and I'm not aware of any packages. But it's a pure Perl 
module, so packaging should be an easy task. You find the module at 
CPAN:

  http://www.cpan.org/modules/by-module/Gtk2/Gtk2-Ex-FormFactory-0.56.tar.gz

Besides these changes packaging dvd::rip 0.97.1 should be the same as 
for the 0.52 stable branch. All external dependencies (transcode etc.) 
are the same.

Please drop a note if you're planning to build 0.97.1 packages.
