That's correct. DVD authoring and burning support will be added in 
further releases. Up to now you can burn (S)VCD's and data CD's. Burning
DVD's is possible as well (using dvdrecord), but only simple data DVD's
with .avi/.ogm files on them, no native Video DVD's.
