Thanks for the report. You can help yourself by editing the "DVD player
command" in the Preferences dialog. Change it to:

  mplayer <dvd://%t -aid %(%a+%b) -chapter %c -dvdangle %(%m+1) -dvd-device %d>

Next release on the 0.97 branch will have that fix.
