Humm, OK, but I thought MythTV used transcode and my Myth backend
machine has no problems as an NPTL only machine. I've used transcode
by hand (I think) to take Myth recordings and save them without
commercials, etc.

Anyway, it looks like there is some activity on the bug report this
morning with a fix on its way. (I hope!)
