I fear hardlinks are not supported by VFAT as well...
My suggestion is: grab the complete command from the log, paste it into
a file, e.g. "burn.sh". Then change the ln command to a mv command
mv
/home/bill/Data/My_Video/MillionDollarBabe/avi/002/MillionDollarBabe_1.svcd
/home/bill/Data/My_Video/MillionDollarBabe/avi/002/MillionDollarBabe_1.svcd.bin
(please rejoin the line if your mail program breaks it).
and execute the burn.sh script.
