Hi!
I'd like to suggest one thing that I (and possibly others) would find usefull in
DVD::RIp.

Please allow negative values for the height offset of the subtitles. I (and others I think) prefer to leave a black bar bellow the movie, so that the subtitles a) don't interfere with the picture and b) are easier to read. Sometimes the default height is too high, and the subtitles are inside the picture, not the black bar. DVD:Rip doesn't allow a negative offset, so as to 'lower' the subtitles. I can always do it with the -J extsub=... option, but it'd be better to do it from within the program. After all, transcode allows negative offsets.

Thanks for reading this.

Stavros
