Hi,
I have the same problem, but I just tried with xvid/ogg/vorbis... I can't post my exect specs here 'cause my connexion at home has been down for over a month now, so I'm never on my main machine anymore, but I can say it's an AMD64 running Debian Sarge 2.8.X.

HI,
I've searched around and discovered that a few other people have had this same problem, maybe this should be on the transcode list but I'll post here anyway. Like others my encoding with transcode via dvd::rip hangs at 99%. I've tried other video/audio containers (avi,ogg...mp3,ac3..) and have had no luck figuring it out. Searching the archives gave me a few ideas, such as downgrading to transcode v.0.6.14 ( I'm using 1.0.0), I've tried v.0.6.3pre, tried using the "workaround transcode NPTL bugs" option in DVD::rip 0.52.6, setting it to 'LD_ASSUME_KERNEL 2.2.5'. I've seen talk of a psu_mode bug on North American DVD's (like mine) that was apparently fixed in the version 0.6.3pre, I assume it is still fixed in v.1.0.0. At this point I'm out of options. Hopefully someone can help.
