well i did uninstall perl completely from my system & reinstalled perl
5.8.7-5 from the SuSE install CD & tried to install Video-DVDRip
0.52.6 but I still get the message:

"Warning: prerequisite Gtk 0.7008 not found.
Warning: prerequisite Gtk::Gdk::Pixbuf 0 not found."

then I attempted Video-DVDRip 0.97.4 & get a similar message:


"Warning: prerequisite Gtk2 1.081 not found.
Warning: prerequisite Gtk2::Ex::FormFactory 0.58 not found."
