[dvd::rip] Error report: dvdrip-perl error

Subject: [dvd::rip] Error report: dvdrip-perl error
From: hazzmat <hazzmat@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

I have installed Video-DVDRip via PLF package Video-DVDRip-0.97.4-0.1.20060plf , with transcode 1.0.1 also via PLF package.
This obliged me to install perl Gtk2-Ex-FormFactory-0.58 manually from cpan, since the dvd::rip rpm refused to install with the distribution standard version of this library (which is rev. 0.57., not 0.58)

However on one dvd disc which is a commercial title, I get the following message when attempting to read the disc's table of contents:
"Illegal division by zero at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.7/Video/DVDRip/BitrateCalc.pm line 508."
On at least some other discs I have tried the error does not appear.

transcode/dvdrip is not responsible for the oddities of the PLF archives, namely the bizarre requirement of a library version which cannot be found elsewhere in PLF or Mandriva repositories, but in any case there seems to be a malfunction reading the TOC of a commercial disc using cpan sourced modules on a distribution's current version of perl. Thought you'd like to know...

Can someone explain to me what this error is caused by and if there's something I should do to fix it?

Thanks.
