[dvd::rip] Strip on screen

So I have ripped my first DVD to an avi file using your guys help, now
when i play it the is a black strip a few inches think on the bottom and
top of the screen. I don't think it's mplayer because I have other avi's
which play fine.

Is there some setting I need to change in DVD::Rip when I rip?
