Hi,
I just want to give a short report on this survey. I got seven answers
and most users voted for keeping the dvdrip-master daemon (6:1), mostly
because they use a headless server for controlling the cluster (and of
course I had this scenario in mind when I designed the cluster
architecture ages ago... ;)
So this feature is not "just cool", but obviously in use for good
reasons, so I'll keep it. Makes the application development a bit more
sophisticated, but hey, if it would be that easy everyone would be able
to do it... ;)
Thanks for your partipition. I still appreciate answers to the original
posting, just to learn more about the way dvd::rip is used "in the wild"
;)
Regards,
Joern
