Yes, that's it! When I just installed dvd::rip and its dependencies, I still 
got the same error message, but installing libintl-perl fixed it. Thanks to 
everyone for their help.

When I installed dvd::rip this way, did it automatically install Transcode and 
its dependencies, too? (I already had it installed, so I'm not sure) If so, 
that was way easier than the several days I spent trying to install them both 
the first time! I had no idea you could add extra repositories like that to 
Yast!
