We're veering slightly off topic here, but yes, it'll generally sort out
the dependencies for you. The Packman guys obviously missed the
up-to-date libintl-perl package from the dependencies:

The requirement for the Video-DVDRip package is

perl-libintl-perl >= 1.10-

whereas the latest version available from Packman is 1.16-0.pm.0. The
latter works, 1.10 doesn't.

Look at the 'Dependencies' tab for any given package for details.
