Of course I'm interested (and I bet not just me! ;)

Best thing would be if you send your patch to the transcode developers,
which increases the chance of getting this into the official 
distribtuion. Much better if you could extract the forced-subtitle stuff
if you think the rest of your patch isn't ready for public use ;)

Then I'm looking forward to add the correspondent "render forced 
subtitle" checkbox to the dvd::rip GUI and we finally can close this 
often repeated feature request ;)
