Hi

I am using dvd:rip v0.97.6, transcode v1.0.2 and mjpegtools v1.8.0, all prebuilt rpms from repos, on Fedora Core 4.

I want a high quality rip to an avi container, so am setting BPP=0.4 under the "Manually" tab of the Video Bit calculation under the transcode screen.

This gives a video bitrate of 2096 kbit/s and an estimated total size of 1646MB

But after transcoding, I get an avi file of only 794.1MB

Old documentation refers to a checkbox to enable manual settings, however this does not seem to exist in the current version

What is wrong?
