Ugh, this reminds me I've promised a workaround patch for transcode 1.0.x
some time ago... =:|
Anyway, better late than never, so:

(transcode 1.1.0 will -hopefully- take a different approach)

expect a new one (relatively) soon, I'm willing to let export_ffmpeg fully
honouring -R option.

Maybe, it should have better x264 integration. Yet.
