Hallo,
I'm trying dvd::rip on Fedora Core 5 x86_64, version 0.97.6, rpm
provided by FreshRPMs.
It seems to work fine, it doesn't even need the NPTL workaround.
The only issue is not strictly related to dvd::rip, but to the way FC5
mounts dvds: while before the virtual device was statically linked to a
mount directory, now FC5 creates a new directory like this
/media/<disk-label> and adds an entry into /etc/mtab, i.e.:
/dev/hdc /media/KOYAANISQATSI udf ro,noexec,nosuid,nodev,uid=500 0 0
so dvd::rip fails to see the disk because it expect it to be mounted in
the same directory.
Manually changing the folder name to the right one works, but an
automatic check in mtab would be way better, ain't it? ;)
