[dvd::rip] xvid vs. xvid4

Hello,
in dvdrip (marillat debian package) I have codecs with the names xvid, xvid4.
I wonder which one is xvid version 1.1.0 (the newest according the webpage), and
if it wouldn't be a good idea to show it in dvdrip.
