dvd::rip does that already, e.g. to get the exact AC3 bitrate, which 
tcprobe doesn't grab from the DVD, only from the VOB files. dvd::rip 
just doesn't expect a gap in the audio track enumeration ;)

Oh, I fear this would be a challenge in that case ;) I think this "audio
tracks are continuously enumerated" assumption is very fundamental in 
dvd::rip ;) But I noted that on my TODO list, although such strange 
authored DVD's are seldom...
