Looks like a known bug in lsdvd for me, which is reported already to the
author some weeks ago, unfortunately I don't got an answer yet... :(
Workaround: remove the lsdvd package, then dvd::rip will fallback to
another (slower) method for DVD TOC reading, but this will work for
sure.

This "Workaround transcode NPTL bugs" switch is a completely different
thing. If you get errors with it, deactivate it and everything should
work Ok.

Ignore this message. This option is the device name for cdrecord, which
isn't used in the current unstable release anyway. The whole CD burning
stuff will be dropped, since there are better CD burning tools out
there, no need to try to duplicate this in dvd::rip.
