Sometimes I transcode a recording from digital satellite tv and the
recording software split it into files of 2GB. To have a high quality
change from the first part to the second one I place the files in a
directory and use the commands '--no_split -i vdr.d/'. I don't need to
add a '*'.
Related to my explanation: To transcode these recordings I need to do
all the steps manually that dvd::rip does automatically to remove the
black bars at the top and the bottom of the pictures and and scale it
to the right aspect ratio. Is there a possibility to use dvd::rip for
the whole task? What do I need to do that it excepts the files (that
are similar to vob files)? How can I fake a vob directory?
