Hi list,
first of all, here are my specs: amd64, debian unstable and Christan
Marillat's (excellent :)) packages (dvdrip 0.97.10, transcode 1.0.2)
When I try to code Star Wars 5 (I give the name 'cause I don't have
problems with other movies) I get a +/-500M file (Xvid/vorbis 2 pass,
one required 700M file) that's 48'47''. First of all, that's short...
and even if the movie was full it would be more or less 1 Gig! The log
file tells me everything is fine, and transcode stops totally normally.
The only strange thing is that I can't get a preview (to cut the black
stripes) above the image 3000 (+/-). If I try, I get something like
"transcode can't get to this frame".
I have to ass that this movie was already altered using dvdshrink, but I
don't think this can bring me that much trouble, or it can?
I have some small other problems, but I'll post them separately to keep
things clearer.
So, I hope anyone can help me, thanks!
Benja
P.S.: Thanks very much to Jorn (and Christian) for all this work during
their free time!
