I'm not sure if I understand that correctly: the movie stops short? Or 
is it complete but you expect a bigger file due to your video bitrate 
settings?

I think it can ;) Do you rip from a DVD image or a burned DVD shrinked 
with dvdshrink before? Looks like transcode has trouble with this DVD. 
You could try to copy it with "vobcopy -m" to the harddisk and use 
dvd::rip's DVD-image mode, probably that helps.
