It looks like a packaging bug to me. Obviously the file

  lib/Video/DVDRip/license.txt

and probably

  lib/Video/DVDRip/translators.txt

as well are missing in your installation. Please check the output of

  dpkg -L dvdrip

whether these files are listed there. If not, the package is incomplete.
