Hmm, why do you mess with unrar? dvd::rip uses only rar to compress the
vobsub files. The rar file in the package on exit1.org is statically
linked and should make no problems.
What exactly does not work with your vobsubs? Are the files created but
mplayer can't play them?

It's mplayer which supports only rar files created with version 2.x -
unless that has changed in the meantime. I didn't verify this
restriction for a long time, probably mplayer can handle rar3 files in
the meantime... does anyone know more about this?
