Yes, this is on my (long term) TODO list, but currently dvd::rip only
supports subtitle rendering and vobsub generation, but no text/OCR subs.

It's difficult to answer that question in general, because encoding time
of course depends on the settings (image size, audio codec, bitrates,
filters e.g. deinterlacing). But 21 hours is indeed damn slow... Please
send the command line of the 2nd pass, probably I can see which setting
is responsable for that.
