Subject: [dvd::rip] "Transcode can't find this frame. Try slow grabbing."

Hi,

I'm a south French Linux user: CentOS 4.3 (RHEL4 clone) with kernel 2.6.9-34.EL.
I ran into an apparently common problem. When I try to rip a movie, it does get
ripped, and then I get that infamous error message about transcode not being
able to find this frame. (I had used DVD::RIP something like 3 years ago on
Libranet 2.8.1, and it worked great!)

Config:

DVD::RIP 0.52.6
transcode 1.0.2

(Uh oh. Curious thing. I wanted to "clear the log file" ("vider le journal"),
but curiously, this doesn't work either)

I've seen that this happened to others before. And yes, I checked the
"Workaround the NPTL something", with a kernel set to 2.4.30.

Any suggestions?
