[dvd::rip] rip stops short

Subject: [dvd::rip] rip stops short

Hi again,

I'm getting the error:

WARNING: it seems that transcode ripping stopped short.

The movie has x frames, but only y

were ripped. This is most likely a problem with your transcode/libdvdread
installation, resp. a problem with this specific DVD.

I have tried 3 dvds now and get the same error (although they all die at different points). The dvds are all in excellent condition.

I'd appreciate any help in diagnosing this problem. I'm looking for the log file, but do not know where to find it.

My version info is:
Slackware 10.2
linux 2.6.13
dvd::rip .97.6
transcode 1.0.2 (from linuxpackages.net)
libdvdread 0.9.5 (from linuxpackages.net, also tried 0.9.6 with same result)

Thanks,
Brian
