As Gerald stated already: the problem is the -f 23,976 option, which has
to be -f 23.976. We had a similar report some time ago, but I couldn't
yet reproduce the problem.

Can you please send me your .rip file to private mail (joern@xxxxxx)? As
well the output of the 'locale' command? If your locale setting is not
"C", what happens if you execute dvd::rip like this:

  LC_ALL=C dvdrip

Does it work then? (the whole procedure: new project, toc reading,
ripping, save, exit, reopen & transcode)

If this works: please send me both .rip files: the not working original
file, and the file with LC_ALL=C set.

dvd::rip doesn't create any DVD image folders, as the docs state: "Use
an *existent* DVD image". You can create such an image with vobcopy -m
or other tools, which can extract an identical copy from DVD to
harddisk.
