Hmm, interesting, the following happened:
- you ripped with subtitles
- after 1667 frames the ripping ends, much earlier as expected
(we have to investigate the reason for this, but later...)
- dvd::rip gives you the warning *and* sets the internal frame
count of this title to 1667
- then you ripped without subtitles, ripping succeeds, but all
progress calculation is done on the wrong (way too small)
number of frames
If you re-read TOC the internal frame count will be corrected and you
should get the correct progress values for all further steps. No need to
rip again, but you will have to repeat your settings, because they're
lost with TOC reading.
But now I really like to know the reason for the failing rip. Please
start a new project with this specific DVD, choose a different data
directory, read TOC, select the title and enable subtitle ripping, but
don't actually rip! Instead grab the "Rip Command" from the transcode
debugging window (open with [Ctrl+T]) and execute it by hand, with
redirection of all output to a log file, e.g. like this:
( here the "Rip Command" ) 2>&1 | gzip -c > /tmp/rip.log.gz
The parenthesis are important. Then send me the rip.log.gz file together
with the .rip file of this project to joern@xxxxxxx
Thanks,
Joern
