[dvd::rip] Howto use ffpeg

Hi!

I am interested in using ffmeg with dvdrip.
I know how to tell dvdrip to use ffmpeg. But i do not know how to tell
ffmpeg which "configuration" it should use.

If I use xvid4 there is a small config-gui in which i can set some
params for the codec. How is this done when using ffmepg?
