dvd::rip currently has no ffmpeg option GUI (it has no GUI for xvid4 as
well, it uses an external program for this ;).

But transcode supports a lot of ffmpeg specific options with a separate
config file (similar to xvid4). You find more details about this in the
transcode documentation:

  http://www.transcoding.org/cgi-bin/transcode?Export_Modules/Export_Ffmpeg

If you put the .ffmpeg.cfg file in your home directory or a ffmpeg.cfg
file (no leading dot here!) into the dvd::rip project's tmp/ directory
it should be recognized properly by transcode.

Hope this helps.

Joern
