Hmm, I think we have some mailing list thread confusion here ;) It looks
this answer belongs to the "[dvd::rip] ANNOUNCE: dvd::rip unstable

Hmm, sorry, no idea. I googled for this error message and found a note 
about a missing perl-devel package. Probably that helps.
