Hi there!
I installed yesterday DVD::Rip on my Kubuntu Dapper Drake machine. It
went fine as far as I could see. In the preSettings I gave DVD::Rip the
right paths and then I tried to Rip a DVD but nothing happened. To
figure out what's wrong I clicked the button Check All Settings. I wish
I could copy/paste the output, but *grrr* it just doesn't work. However
in the output I found this:
STDIN xine Abspielbefehl nicht gefunden: Nicht OK [1]
rar Befehl zur Vobsub Komprimierung nicht gefunden: Nicht Okay [2]
CDRECORD Gerät (n,n,n oder Dateiname) : 0,X,0 hat nicht das Format n,n,n
und ist nicht Okay

Paketlisten werden gelesen... Fertig
Abhängigkeitsbaum wird aufgebaut... Fertig
Paket xine ist nicht verfügbar, wird aber von einem anderen
Paket referenziert. Das kann heißen, dass das Paket fehlt, dass es veraltet
ist oder nur aus einer anderen Quelle verfügbar ist.
E: Paket xine hat keinen Installationskandidaten

I don't know what I have to do to get dvd::rip running, but hopefully
one of you does have a clue.
