I am using dvd::rip 0.98.1 and transcode 1.0.2 on Suse Pro 10.0.
I am in the process of ripping my Stargate SG-1 DVDs and was having some audio
sync problems. I got by that totally on accident. I found if I switched the
encoding video framerate to 29.976 instead of the detected 23.976, the sync
was dead on.
Now there is a minor inconvenience. When I started ripping these (upto five
titeles per disk), I was able to grab the selected titles and then on the
transcode tab, select transcode and all the grabbed titles would rip in
sequence. However, if I want to change the framerate, I have to do it for
each title, then the transcode button does not do themin sequence, rather one
at a time by means of manual intervention.
Is there some option I am missing to tell transcode to default to that
framerate, or better yet, some way I can have dvd::rip pass the settings from
the first title to the rest to facilitate the automatic sequential
transcoding?
The only option I see to get around this is to script it. I can do that, but
I really like the interface dvd::rip provides to transcode.
Thank you, and keep up the great work.
