[dvd::rip] DVDRIP hangs at 99.96% Transcoding

DvdRip 98.2
Transcode 1.0.2
Kernel 2.6.9-42.0.3.EL
LD_ASSUME_KERNEL = 2.4.19
Free HDD Space +20Gb

I Can rip fine, but when i do the transcode it hangs at 99.96% ETA 0:08 
and the elapsed time stops at 05:33:57

There are no running DVDRIP or transcode processes, all are sleeping.
I can cancel here and I get a playable AVI, but I cannot fast forward 
and MPLAYER does not show a Length of time,  It doesnt happen all the 
time, just sometimes... (I know that is hard to troubleshoot) but any 
ideas are appreciated.
