[dvd::rip] Merging multiple dvd's

Hello,

I have a problem to merge multiple DVD's. My mother in law has a camera
wich records directly to DVD, (small ones of 1.4 GB).

Se asked me to take a backup of all the dvd's she has recorded until
now. What i want to to is somehow merge 3 small dvd's of 1.4GB on one
normal 4.7GB (to have less dvd's and for price reasons...).

She is not a computer user, so she would like to watch this DVD's on her
DVD player connected to her TV. => their should be one dvd menu for the
entire dvd (not just a coppy of three dvd's on the same dvd...)

Is this possible in anyway?

If you start a new project, your old files are remover from your project
directory (normally you've already written them on a dvd but this is not
possible for me.
