Sorry for a previous message, it was accidently sent and it was not
completed.
I have a DVD which from I want to take some content and make another DVD
disk. When I use VOB files taken directly from an original DVD (copy
from a file system level) (q)dvdauthor works fine.
But some content I would like to use is stored as a chapter(s) in one
title (one big VOB file), so I wanted to use dvd::rip to take selected
chapters and write them as a separate title(set)s.
dvd::rip had no problem with making one VOB per selected chapter on my
hard disk, but unfortunately dvdauthor doesn't want to accept them. I
see a lot of messages:
WARN: Skipping sector, waiting for first VOBU...
WARN: Skipping sector, waiting for first VOBU...

I can transcode it to be in a "proper" format (and then it works fine),
but I don't want to lose quality (source and destination formats are VOB
and should be compatible).
Could it be a problem with dvd::rip that ripped files have problem with
VOBU and aren't directly usable by dvdauthor?
I have dvd::rip 0.98.2.
