[dvd::rip] sycnh big trouble

Hi i am new to using dvdrip and are trying to rip my dvd collection to
hd. I am however having really big difficulty with video and audio
synch. I have set the psu option and still no good. I have tried mp3 and
ac3. I have tried xvid and ffmpeg. Nothing seems to change still synch
trouble and it is not just one movie but all of them. I ripped twenty
before i realised that there was sycnh trouble. What bugger aye.
Would appreciate any advice or help. Maybe if there is another way of
encoding which has clcipping as well like dvdrip.
