[dvd::rip] DVD::rip crash before preview

Subject: [dvd::rip] DVD::rip crash before preview

I'm trying to rip a chapter of a DVD and every time I get the same error. It goes through RIP Title OK, but at the generate preview image step it crashes. On the Clip & Zoom tab, if I hit Grab Image with frame 1 specified, I get this error:

Job 'Grab preview - title #3, chapter #3' failed with error message:
Command exits with failure code:
Command: mkdir -m 0775 /tmp/dvdrip30834.ppm; cd /tmp/dvdrip30834.ppm; execflow transcode -H 10 --print_status 25 -o snapshot -y ppm,null -x vob,null -i \/home\/KirkD\/\.dvdrip\-data\/test\/vob\/003\-C003\/ -c 1-2 -L 0 && execflow convert -size 720x480 /tmp/dvdrip30834.ppm/snapshot*.ppm /home/KirkD/.dvdrip-data/test/tmp/test-003-preview-orig.jpg && execflow convert -size 720x480 /tmp/dvdrip30834.ppm/snapshot*.ppm gray:/home/KirkD/.dvdrip-data/test/tmp/test-003-preview-orig.raw && rm -r /tmp/dvdrip30834.ppm && echo EXECFLOW_OK

Output: syncinfo write error (0)
write: Broken pipe
syncinfo write error (0)

lots and lots of those Broke pipe and syncinfo error lines, then:
