[dvd::rip] No subtitles present in subtitles tab

I swear, this will be my last time posting ;}

I have successfully ripped the DVD, and transcoded without subtitles, 
however, in the Subtitles tab, it says "This title has no subtitles". I 
know for a fact this DVD has subtitles, and I would really like to use 
them so I can view the video with the original sound.  I checked through 
the mailing list archive and was unable to find anything regarding this.
Pertinent versions:
dvd::rip 0.98.9
transcode 1.1.0
subtitle2pgm 0.3
rar 2.71

Can anyone point me in the right direction?  I know I'm missing 
something here.. Thanks!
