Hi dave.

i have a similar problem but only randomly.  mine seems to kind of stall out on trying to produce the last image preview (if i have selected to rip multiple titles). 

dvd::rip still lets me save the project.   when i restart dvd::rip the preview image and the rest of its actions are fine.  

is this similar to what you are seeing?

if i see this again i'll try to look into it further.
i'm on gentoo on a core2 machine running in 64bit as well.
